Propellant-grade spherical aluminium are gas-atomized spheres that help pack efficiently in composite solid propellants, they mix at workable viscosities, boosting flame temperature and density-specific impulse while controlled size gives predictable flow rates and reduced slag formation. Particle sizes in the range of 3-5, 7-13 and 15-25 micron are available.
