Nominated in three categories at the Australian Defence Industry Awards 2025

DefendTex is proud to announce its nomination in three prestigious categories at the Australian Defence Industry Awards 2025, recognising our ongoing commitment to innovation, capability development and leadership within Australia's defence sector.

For the third consecutive year, DefendTex has been nominated for Defence Innovator of the Year — an accolade we were honoured to win in both 2023 and 2024. We are also finalists for Sovereign Industry Capability Provider of the Year, recognising our commitment to building and sustaining critical sovereign capabilities through Australian research, development and manufacturing. In addition, we celebrate a nomination for Female Defence Leader of the Year, highlighting the exceptional talent and leadership of the women driving innovation across DefendTex and the wider industry.

DSTA and DefendTex sign MOU to advance innovation in robotics and munitions safety

Singapore's Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) and Australia's DefendTex have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore collaborative opportunities in platform-launched drones, munitions safety, and novel unmanned vehicle (UxV) concepts of operation for Singapore's defence needs.

The partnership aims to leverage DefendTex's expertise in rapid prototyping and development of next-generation autonomous systems and smart weapons to enhance operational capabilities for the Singapore Armed Forces.
